About

The story behind Under Par Golf Club.

How a pandemic hobby turned into Pleasanton's indoor clubhouse.

Our story

Under Par Golf Club started with a pandemic-era discovery: our founder picked up golf during COVID-19 and found something in it beyond the scorecard — a rare chance to slow down, clear the mind, and be fully present. That feeling became the idea for a club: a warm, upbeat space in Pleasanton where anyone, first-timers, families, friend groups, or competitive players, could find that same reset.

Four bays and Trackman iO simulators later, that’s what we’ve built.

Meet the owner

Sriram Garimella, Owner

Sriram is a Pleasanton resident, technology leader, and the founder of Under Par Golf Club. He holds a Master’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University at Buffalo and an MBA from UCLA — a background that shows up in the club’s data-driven Trackman setup and its focus on hospitality, smooth operations, and community connection.

For Sriram, Under Par is more than a place to rent a simulator bay. It’s a way to bring people together year-round, to practice, play, learn, laugh, and leave feeling better than when they walked in.
